What is included
- full furnishing and appliances
- malfunction service (technician)
- media formalities on our side
For a room, you pay the monthly rent plus one fixed media fee that covers electricity, heating, water and internet. The media fee is a flat amount, not metered, so there are no meter readings, no surprise winter bills and no utility accounts in your name. Rent and the media fee together make up the monthly total shown above, and that total is the only number to plan for each month.

Questions about this place
How does reserving this place work?
You pay a reservation fee of 500 zł today through Stripe (BLIK, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay). That takes the place off the market for 5 days while you read and sign the lease online, in Polish and English. Once the lease is signed and the first payments are made, you collect the keys from a deposit box.
When do I get the reservation fee back?
In full, within 7 days, if we do not send you the lease during the reservation period, if the place stops being available because of us, or if the lease is not concluded through no one's fault. The fee is not refunded if you resign after receiving the lease. When you sign, the fee counts towards the one-off commission.
What does 2875 zł a month cover?
Rent of 2250 zł plus a building fee of 625 zł, 2875 zł together. Metered utilities are settled separately, on your own usage.
What do I pay before I move in?
First month 2875 zł, deposit 2900 zł and a one-off commission of 1500 zł: 7275 zł in total. 500 zł of that is the reservation fee you pay today, so 6775 zł is due when the lease is signed. The deposit comes back within 30 days after you move out, minus any documented deductions.
What if the place is not as described?
You have 48 hours after collecting the keys to report a material mismatch with the listing. We then fix it, offer a comparable place or settle and refund as set out in the Reservation Terms.
How long do I have to stay?
The minimum stay is 6 months. Staying longer is fine.
Can I see the place before I decide?
Yes. Ask for an in-person viewing before you decide and the team confirms a time with you.
Who do I sign the lease with?
Your lease is with CITYROOM Sp. z o.o., the company behind citymate, renting in Poznań since 2017.

The people behind citymate
A young team that gets how you want to rent.
We are a group of young people who know what renting in a new city feels like because we have done it ourselves. We focus on clear information, visible next steps and straightforward contact routes.
We genuinely like working with the people who live with us, and we are happy to help with the odd, off-script things that come up along the way. And if a good friendship grows out of it, even better. That is the kind of renting we want to run.
